Art Fleur Owner Clears Up Cryptic Tom Petty Note Given to Cardi B

Venice Beach, California - Art Fleur Studio has sprouted controversy with the gifting of a floral arrangement to pop singer Cardi B on Grammy evening. The congratulatory note attached to the lavish floral arrangement caused confusion on Cardi B’s Instagram Story when she thanked the late rock icon Tom Petty for the flowers. The arrangement was a gifting from Art Fleur owner, Annie Wonderlich , who caters to an impressive roster of celebrity clients such as Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, and Veuve Clicquot, just to name a few.

The Art Fleur note to the singer read “You’ve got a heart so big it could crush this town -Tom Petty” which are lyrics printed on one side of the note. The confusion resulted in Cardi not having a chance to address the other side of the note on her Instagram story which had a personal message from Wonderlich reading “Cardi B! Wishing you love, light, and luck tonight at the Grammys. All Best xoxo The Art Fleur Team.”

The Instagram story has since been deleted along with Cardi B’s profile following her Grammy win as the first solo woman to win a Best Rap Album. The decadent arrangement also happened to resemble the 'Venus' crinoline sheath gown, Cardi wore on the Grammy red carpet by designer Thierry Mugler.  The arrangement is a celebration of Cardi, inspired by the artist’s beauty and strength. It’s called the Ms. B , measuring three and half feet (3.5ft)  tall, adorned with two hundred and fifty (250) Vendula, Orange Crush and Garden roses and 24k gold painted Monstera leaves. The lyric printed cards from Art Fleur are part of the complimentary card program Wonderlich created when she started Art Fleur. Other Art Fleur cards feature quotes and lyrics from Oscar Wilde, Claude Monet and David Bowie in addition to many other chic gifts that can be added to any bouquet.

Art Fleur arrangements are the perfect gift and available in a variety of sizes with prices starting at just $70.
